Model cards have stopped being useful

Early model cards documented known failure modes and training data composition. Current ones increasingly document benchmark scores and intended use, which is marketing in a standard layout.

The information that matters for deployment — where the model is weak and on what data it was trained — has migrated to third-party evaluations and community testing.
